Lead Time

SEE LEAD TIME EXCEPTIONS BELOW. 

If you've never ordered from us, please know that we work diligently to get personalized orders shipped out as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality for speed. Our specific lead time varies depending on the number of orders pending at the time your order is finalized. Our goal is to be honest and not over-promise. We are currently experiencing supply issues and several hat styles are on backorder. We've ordered much higher than normal stock levels but we are at the mercy of our suppliers as to when they will arrive. This is consistent among all brands that we stock.

With excellent customer service being our goal, we will strive to make sure that this page is as accurate as possible. Please keep in mind that it's only an estimate and it is updated as we receive additional information which changes sometimes multiple times daily. Just as it is in the fire service, sometimes the unexpected happens. Our goal is to keep you well-informed.

If we can reduce the phone calls and emails regarding the status of orders and estimated lead times, we can IMPROVE our lead time which is a win for all!

IF YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER THROUGH OUR WEBSITE (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR THE BEST LEAD TIME):

SMALL ORDERS (12 or less hats): If you place your order through our website (12 hats or less) and your order contains items that require personalization, based on our standard/normal order volume, it is estimated to ship out within approximately 10-14 business days (M-F; no holidays) (as long as we have enough stock) which is typically our standard/normal lead time. Keep in mind that from time to time this fluctuates with our order volume daily so it's not guaranteed but will give you a rough idea.  ****NOTE: Due to issues/delays at the port coupled with staffing issues among our suppliers, it is taking longer for us to get some hat styles (some have been backordered since we placed orders mid March and early April). We work very hard to keep our website current but we can only post what we are told. We are intentionally stocking more than double what we normally keep on hand but there are still situations beyond our control among all brands that we carry. This is a global issue and we are handling it to the best of our ability. If in doubt, contact us if you are on a strict timeline. Otherwise, we'll get orders shipped out ASAP. ****

BULK ORDERS (13 or more hats): The lead time for bulk orders can vary depending on specifically what is ordered and our order volume. We do not guarantee a ship out date for bulk orders as we process them in the order in which they were received. 

BULK ORDERS (13 or more hats) UPDATE FRIDAY 6/18 PM: 

We ordered several hat styles back in March and they have still not arrived. We are getting stock in daily and we have no way of knowing the particular hat styles, colors, sizes that are going to arrive day to day. We have a huge shipment coming in 6/28 (Pacific Headwear). We wish we had more control of stock but we're doing the best that we can. Here are the bulk orders that we are currently processing:

Order #20190 (5/28): In progress; some hat styles on this order are backordered (until "June" per manufacturer)

Order #20197 (5/29): Finished. Shipping today (6/18).

IF WE MANUALLY ENTER YOUR ORDER FOR YOU:

Most of the time this refers to custom orders where your artwork/design is not available to order from our website. If we enter your order manually, please reach out to us regarding your lead time because there are too many variables to accurately estimate with custom orders (especially if you order custom thread colors, custom artwork and/or hats/items that we do not stock). 

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Once your order has been placed, you should receive an automated Order Confirmation email from us. Make sure orders@elitefireapparel.com is on the "safe sender" list in the email account associated with your order. This should prevent correspondence regarding your order from going to your spam/junk folder. If we have a question regarding your order, we will send you an email. We don't send order updates as many expect because your order is "pending" right up until we package it to ship. We'd rather spend our time working on processing orders so that you receive your order faster. You'll receive an automated Shipping Confirmation email when your shipping label is printed. It will contain a delivery tracking number so you can track it along the way.
