As many of you know, we have been in business for over 17 years. We are a firefighter owned husband and wife team that manages all aspects of Elite Fire Apparel on a daily basis. We work hard to assess the needs of our customers and implement solutions to help.
Upon recent discussion of our goals and desires for our business and family, we've closely evaluated our systems and processes. We discovered that change is inevitable. Our business growth, values, processes, equipment, personnel, resources overhead cost and time have collectively impacted how we choose to move forward to best serve our customers. We're excited about the changes and think you will be too. All Elite Fire Apparel 2.0 changes will positively impact the majority of our customers and allow our shop to be more efficient saving the customer time and money.
Most importantly, we are offering the same quality products and services that we have offered over the years. The only changes that we are implementing are so that we can better handle our business growth and the needs of the majority of our customers. Pricing and order processing are the only things changing in 2.0. When closely evaluating our expenses and pricing formula, given a variety of scenarios, we discovered the price point that we can now offer customers with larger orders that meet our new efficiency criteria. The savings is significant and we want that for our customers.
The guiding principles that have made our business successful are the same today as they were in our humble beginnings. Honesty, integrity, appreciation and respect are the foundation of Elite Fire Apparel and the reason that we continue to grow. We are passionate about serving you well and we strive to be honest and fair. We take pride in our excellent customer service and look forward to providing this in an even more unique way based on your specific needs.
Moving forward, we will be quoting orders of 12 or more hats based on the customer's unique needs. If we find that the majority of the order simply can't be run efficiently then we will direct the customer to our website to place the order. If we find that the order can be run quickly and efficiently, we will offer a quantity discount which is quite significant. For orders qualifying for the quantity discount, we will enter the order for you and directly work with you to meet your unique needs.

Elite Fire Apparel 2.0 Updates (as of 11/12/24)
MOST THINGS WILL STAY THE SAME:
- Quality Embroidery: We have been providing our embroidery services for 17+ years. We have not only the knowledge and experience but also the passion to provide high quality embroidery on high quality hats and apparel.
- Customer Service: Our goal is to provide excellent customer service. This is a priority at Elite Fire Apparel. We work closely with customers on a daily basis and work hard to meet and hopefully exceed your expectations.
- Free Shipping: We proudly offer free shipping on all hats all the time whether you order 1 hat or 100+ hats.
- Lead Time Updates: We provide a Lead Time page that is accessible from the top of every page of our website that is updated daily M-F (except holidays and shop closures). We also provide a link to this page in each Order Confirmation email. Our goal is to ship out orders as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality for speed.
- Quantity Discounts: We will continue to offer quantity discounts for qualifying orders of 12 or more hats.
ELITE FIRE APPAREL 2.0 UPDATES:
- Website: Our website is still informational with the same content but the ordering process has changed for some order types. It is designed for orders of 11 hats or less and order types that do not qualify for a quantity discount (described in more detail below) based on the time involvement in fulfilling such orders. We have streamlined our pricing to make it easier. The price displayed on each product page is the price the customer will pay if ordering through our website.
- General Pricing: In most cases, our prices are LESS than they were previously. Our pricing structure has shifted to pricing based on efficiency (design set-up and production). We wanted to make sure that our changes would positively impact the majority of our customers. For orders of 12 or more hats, when the qualifying criteria is met, there is a significant quantity discount that is more advantageous to the customer than our previous pricing. If we can be more efficient in processing the order, the customer will save on the cost per hat.
- Quantity Discount Pricing Eligibility: In order to qualify for a quantity discount with Elite Fire Apparel 2.0, customers will need to place an order of at least 12 hats. Efficiency is key when we assess each customer's needs. We will discuss with you what you have in mind and offer you the best possible price based on your unique needs. We can also discuss with you ways to order to save money.
- Order Types Ineligible For Quantity Discount: Again, orders that are 11 or less hats are not eligible for a quantity discount. These orders are still being offered at a competitive and fair price (and free shipping!) but do not qualify for additional savings. Also, orders that meet the 12 pc. quantity minimum criteria but with design variations and quantities that are simply not efficient for us to process/run. These types of orders are ineligible for a quantity discount and will be directed to the website to order at the base website price per hat.
