Hi, we’re Scott and Erin—a firefighter and a former nurse—blessed to serve fire departments across the country with custom apparel through a business rooted in faith and family.
Our journey began in 2007, shortly after the birth of our first child. With demanding and often overlapping work schedules and no nearby family to help with childcare, we found ourselves at a crossroads. We turned to prayer, seeking guidance for the next step. After much reflection, we felt led for Erin to leave her nursing career and start a home-based embroidery business. Those early days were filled with challenges, but we had enough to get by—and we trusted that God would provide.
As the business slowly grew, so did our gratitude for every customer. We came to see our progress not as a result of our own doing, but as a series of blessings and answered prayers. Eventually, we started making hats for Scott to wear at the station, and before long, fellow firefighters were requesting their own. It became clear there was a real need for custom firefighter apparel—and a door was opening.
After more prayer and careful thought, we made the decision to fully dedicate ourselves to serving the fire service community. In 2011, Elite Fire Apparel was offcially born. Since then, we’ve watched God continue to move in incredible ways. We've grown our team, built lasting relationships with our customers, and stayed grounded in the same values we started with: honesty, integrity, faith, and appreciation.
It’s an honor to help firefighters across the nation express their pride through custom hats and apparel. For us, every stitch is more than thread—it’s a reminder of the journey we’ve walked together and the purpose we believe God has given us.
