How it started
2007
Shortly after our first child was born, we hit a crossroads with overlapping schedules and no nearby childcare help. We prayed for direction, and Erin stepped away from nursing to start a home-based general embroidery business.
The Station Test
We started by stitching hats for Scott to wear at the firehouse. Before long, fellow firefighters asked for their own—and we realized there was a real need for premium, custom firefighter apparel done right. This was not just a local need but widespread.
2011
After more prayer and careful planning, Elite Fire Apparel was officially born. Since then, we’ve grown our team, built long-term relationships with departments nationwide, and stayed grounded in the same values we started with: faith, family, honesty, and appreciation.
It’s an honor to help firefighters across the nation express pride through custom hats and apparel. For us, every stitch is more than thread—it’s a reminder of the journey we’ve walked and the purpose we believe God has placed in front of us.
